You Know It Is Ice Hockey Season in HK When You See This

Fuh, tajuk.
This is a common view, seriously ever year. Since my flat is just less than 5 minutes away from the train station, I always have chance to witness this 'parade'. Haha parade la sangat.
And usually, it is the team from Pardubice. :) I'm not sure what exactly happen between these two ice hockey fans. Haha.
Lawan Pardubice je, emosi betul nampaknya.
Kalau kalah, lagi lah emosi.

Can you see the police cars and vans? Yes, they escorted the visitor's fans all the way from train station to the stadium. It is quite far actually and I bet it caused traffic as well. :p If you happened to be around this group of people, they are just okay (so far). There was one time, I witnessed HK fans being the one who started provoking on the road. Isolated case I guess.
I wish we, the world people have better sportsmanship :)
I shared experiences watching ice hockey match in this blog before. You can read how ice hockey looks like in HK and how we appeared on national TV that show live match. Haha.
Have not have the chance to watch any football match yet, maybe I can put this into final year bucketlist. :)

Adr?pach - A Must-Visit Place For Nature Lovers

Travelling to Czech, has always been described by enjoying the heritage sites of Prague; from Charles Bridge to Prague Castle, then to the Old Town, famous for its Astronomical Clock. But, if you have the opportunity to stay in Czech for more days, why not try exploring the other parts of Czech?
Czech is really beautiful for its nature. So, one place I would be really excited to share is this;-
Adr?pach-Teplice Rocks
It is located quite close to the border of Czech-Poland, about 180km from Prague and reachable by train/car/bus. I would really suggest the train as Adr?pach train station is just right in front of Adr?pach-Teplice Rocks entrance. If you are travelling from Prague, usually you need to stop in Hradec Králové before continuing the journey to Adr?pach.
Okay, let's get to the point.
Why Adr?pach is a highly recommended place to go?
1. BEAUTIFUL PLACE WITH FANTASTIC VIEWS!
As you enter the place, you will be presented by the picturesque emerald lake with reflection of trees that surround it. Actually the lake is a flooded quarry. And it will be great to take a picture with this background. Most of times, you can also see ducks swimming around. While in winter, you can expect it to be frozen.
The entrance fee is not that expensive, about
- 50kc for adults
- 20kc for students and children below 6 years old
- 100kc for family - 2 adults and 2 chidren 6-15 years old
2. WALK ALONG GORGES PASSING THROUGH THE GOTHIC GATE
Have you seen this gate somewhere in the movie?
Yes, actually, Adr?pach was a filming site for The Chronicles of Narnia, specifically the first one.
It was built in 1839, and was originally the entrance to the rocks formation. By passing through the gate, you will walk on foot-bridges along gorges with clear, cold water with sand as the base. It looks like the sand of beach. :) Beyond this, you will see 2 beautiful waterfall - the small and big one; in which the big waterfall with height of 16 meters, contributed to the gorges.
3. GET FASCINATED BY THE ROCKS FORMATION
The trails for Adr?pach is only 3.5 km with leisure walk and hike. Along the route, you will be mesmerized with the rocks formation. It is interesting to see trees grow on top of them. There are names for most rocks too and you can use your imagination to relate the rocks' shapes with the names.
And they really make sense (most of times).
4. EXPERIENCE A BOAT RIDE AT THE ROCK LAKE
At about half the route, you can see a ticket counter for boat ride which cost you another 50kc, if I am not mistaken. You need to climb the stairs to get in between the rocks, and here you can see a lake with boat. This lake was used to float timber and was changed to be a tourist attraction.
5. SHORT HISTORY OF ADR?PACH
The rock formations were covered by thick forest of beech and fir. And when the forest was burned after a great fire in 1824, only then the rocks were exposed and get acknowledged.

Adr?pach has the breathtaking views that you will feel your long journey from Prague to be worthy. Consider this place to put in your Czech trip!

Ini kali kedua saya tonton ice hockey match kat stadium. Perlawanan sebenarnya dah start dari bulan Disember lepas, tapi memanjang busy nak exam masa tu. Postpone punya postpone, sampailah masuk Februari. :p
Ada lagi 2 match untuk team Hradec Kralove sebelum habis season ni rasanya :D Dan sekarang di rank ke-4. Not bad :)

Saya pernah berkongsi serba sedikit pasal ice hockey dalam post tahun lepas. Tapi tu memang roughly je, nak cerita banyak pun saya sendiri tak tahu sangat pasal tu. :)

| Game bermula. |
1. Tiket boleh dibeli online. Kalau match yang kat HK, boleh beli kat Mounthfield HK. Harganya bergantung pada seat tu kat mana. Simple rule - lagi best view, lagi bertambah harga tiket. Hehe. You may expect other people to sit on your seat, but as long as you have the ticket - just tell them :)
2. Stadium kat HK ni boleh kata ada dua tingkat dan ini kali pertama saya pilih seat yang belah atas. Dapat lah merasa intai-intai macam mana reporters / media buat liputan / live update. Berderet laptop dan modem Internet, kamera pun sama. And surprisingly, ada playground area jugak kat dalam stadium. Ini untuk budak-budak main sementara parents tengok match. Ada volunteers yang jaga ruang ni.

3. Untuk ice hockey match ni, apa yang saya dapat ringkaskan ialah match terbahagi pada 3 set (20 minit setiap satu), dan between sets tu ada 18-minutes-break. Masa break ni lah, korang boleh expect hampir semua seat kosong. Kenapa?
Yang pertama, mestilah ke tandas. Sebab lain ialah masa ni penonton boleh pergi beli makanan, minuman yang dijual kat belah bawah stadium. Cuma, memang lumrah orang Czech, tengok match sambil minum beer. Beer sana beer sini. T_T

Masa break jugak ada few commercial break - kereta, gimnastik etc. Saya pulak ambil kesempatan ni untuk buat stadium tour. Ada satu part menarik bila saya nampak sebahagian penyokong pihak lawan terasing dari penyokong lain, dan diorang siap ada tangga sendiri untuk ke seat diorang, if I'm not mistaken.
Mungkin nak elakkan perbalahan apa-apa kalau ada provokasi kot.
Dan mungkin sebahagian jugak, sebab saya ada je nampak penyokong pihak lawan kat area seat saya jugak :)
Oh ye, sementara tengah jalan-jalan stadium, dapat bergambar dengan maskot team HK. Oh yeah. :D

Dan....bukan rezeki saya jugak bila datang kali kedua, HK kalah jugak T_T. Tahun lepas, HK kalah kepada Sparta Praha, dan kali ni HK kalah kepada Mlada Boleslav. Haha.

4. Habis set ke-3, rehat beberapa minit sebelum sambung terus dengan masa tambahan. Diberi dalam 5 minit macam tu. Kalau masih seri, sambung dengan 'sepakan penalti'. Tapi 'sepakan penalti' style ice hockey lah hihi. Bola hoki tu diletakkan di tengah court, pastu seorang pemain akan bawak bola sampai ke gol dan cuba jaringkan. Kira pemain tu bergerak lah, kalau dalam bola sepak, lebih statik kan?
HK kalah penalti masa ni.

Things I learned from the match;-
1. Walau penuh dengan cabaran mental, kuatkan semangat.
Memang nampak perbezaan sokongan pada tuan rumah dengan pihak lawan. Contohnya, cheer untuk HK memang bergema satu stadium tapi nothing untuk opposite team. Dan even, penyokong akan buat bunyi ala-ala wisel setiap kali pemain pihak lawan nak bawak bola.
That's torturing, if I'm in their place.
Dan saya tak berkesempatan nak record any goals. Cuma kelakar bila pihak lawan dapat masukkan gol, it feels like nothing happen! Takde replay sangat, takde annoucement sangat. Tapi.....kalau tuan rumah menang, amboi, sampai gelapkan stadium dan pancaran lampu warna warni atas ice rink ;p
2. Kalah menang, adat perlawanan.
Walaupun HK kalah, takde istilah nak mengamuk tak puas hati etc. Majoriti keluar stadium dengan segera (sedih tu memang nampaklah jugak kat wajah diorang tu). Takde masa nak baling-baling botol air, mercun apatah lagi. Semua botol, bekas air baling dalam tong sampah.
3. Tabik spring pada pengawal.
Keliling ice rink, memang ramai orang yang pakai vest oren - macam penjaga penonton dan diorang lah yang akan jadi saksi utama kalau ada apa-apa jadi. Tugas diorang ialah membelakangkan ice rink dan pandang penonton je. Ada pengawal yang memang tak pandang langsung ice rink walaupun gol, ada yang usha-usha sikit. ada yang siap bersembang sakan dengan penonton lain. Haha.
4. Hormat orang lain.
Kalau perlawanan tengah berlangsung, it is a bit rude kalau korang nak lalu depan penonton lain untuk ke seat korang. So, setiap kali break, make sure pergi semula ke seat sebelum game bermula. Ataupun tunggu masa kat skrin freeze - contoh macam waktu offside etc.

Ambulans Udara - Helikopter

It's been a hectic week. :)
Tapi alhamdulillah, kesihatan okay, akal okay. Cuma, penat tu biasalah.
Dan sekarang ambik keputusan untuk stay back dekat hospital untuk buat revision. Dan this is my view everyday, except helikopter tu. Bukan setiap masa ada kat situ. Just landing, turunkan pesakit and parking tempat lain.
Tapi, setiap kali dia nak landing, bunyi dia memang dah boleh dengar walaupun dia jauh lagi.
Or mungkin laptop saya ni yang bunyi mengalahkan helikopter. Haha
Helikopter ni akan ambik pesakit dari jarak 100km radius dari hospital ni (kalau tak silap) dan memandangkan tempat saya dekat dengan bahagian utara Czech, memang helikopter jalan paling cepat untuk access mountain area yg banyaknya jadi border Czech.
Especially, orang yang injured sebab winter sports. :)

Our Group's Dinner 2015

I had a great time yesterday for our group's dinner!
Sebenarnya, ni dinner part 3 dah. Alhamdulillah, masih berterusan sejak tahun kedua. Pada asal bermulanya tradisi group kitorang ni ialah bila kitorang ada few arguments masa nak hujung 1st year tu. Tak la gaduh apa pun, just ada berselisih pendapat pasal exam. Well, sistem exam sini lain banding Malaysia, nak terangkan pun, biasanya orang tak faham. Haha.
Jadinya, bila rasa hubungan macam renggang, apa yang patut kita buat? Yeah, betul betul. Cari jalan untuk rapatkan balik, kan?

Antara perkara yang aku sayang kat group ni ialah - being considerate.
Selisih faham tu biasalah, tapi okay lah kot setakat ni takde yang bermasam muka. Rasanya lah :)
Sebenarnya jujur nak cakap, susah nak adapt dengan budaya luar, especially kat Czech ni. Bukannya taknak bersosial dengan selain Malaysians taw, cuma social events yang diadakan untuk get to know each others tu, biasanya with alcohol. Dan korang pun boleh agak kan, kat mana biasanya diorang buat parties.
Satu fakta yang korang perlu tahu, Czech ni pengeluar arak yang besar. Dan beer tu, harganya lagi murah dari air mineral.
Setiap kali nak join apa-apa, kena tanya dulu benda-benda ni. Biasanya diorang dah faham, tak ajak dah. Except yang tak libatkan alcohol lah :) Contohnya, Culture's Day, sports' events etc.
Like this group's dinner. Non-alcohol. Dan biasanya diorang akan cuba dapatkan daging / ayam halal untuk masak jadinya kitorang pun boleh makan sekali. :)
Tapi, ada yang tak berkesempatan untuk dapatkan yang halal, jadi diorang masak guna daging yang diorang biasa guna. Cuma, good thing is bila diorang akan bagitahu, "For this dish, you guys cannot eat. I'm sorry but I can't find time to get the meat from the mosque".
Air pun air mineral, soda, juices.

Nak menjaga agama di tempat yang orang tak amalkan agama, fuh. Tak dapat nak bayangkan kalau takde support system yang kuat. T_T Godaan tu merata-rata, mudah tergelincir kalau takde yang mengingatkan.

Assalamualaikum everyone. Alhamdulillah, I was doing good for the past few days and I am looking forward for this new subject for this semester.

Sebelum bercakap panjang, saya nak berkongsi dengan korang, insyAllah saya akan berblogging dalam Bahasa Melayu (with English). Ni pun lepas dah berfikir panjang yang serius. Hehe, entah apa yang serius pun tak tahulah.
Jadinya, mudah-mudahan lebih senang nak mendekati semua pembaca yang ada, dengan harapan dapat berkongsi pengalaman dan cerita bermanfaat.
Oh ya, berbalik pada tajuk, cadangnya nak berkongsi kisah yang dapat masa belajar Psychiatry. :)
Wanita yang gemuruh.
Ada seorang pesakit ni, dia datang ke hospital sebab rasa sesak nafas (gasping for air - bayangkan ikan hidup yang tak dapat air), jantung berdegup laju (tachycardia), sakit dada etc dan kalau tak silap, ada beberapa kali dia hampir pitam. Dia ingatkan dia ada something wrong dengan jantung dan doktor buat ECG (electrocardiogram - test untuk check aktiviti jantung kita). ECG untuk wanita ni dibuat untuk eliminate possibility of myocardial infarction, MI (keadaan di mana sel-sel jantung mati sebab tak dapat oksigen). Results of ECG shows that no MI. Tak ingat macam mana, tapi dia end up dihantar ke department psychiatry untuk further check up.
Kemudian, dapat come out dengan sebab dia ada symptoms tu semua.
Rupa-rupanya, wanita tu ada masalah kat tempat kerja, dan dia terlalu memikirkan masalah tu almost all time, Bila stress, body kita akan respon dengan hasilkan banyak stress hormones (eg; adrenaline) dan stress hormone ni lah yang buat symptoms tu -_-'
I guess, the problem she had at the office must be big enough to trigger the constant stress. Ataupun, wanita tu tak pernah ada masalah dan satu masalah yang jadi buat dia tak dapat nak tampung stress tu.
Stress tu perkara normal dan kita yang kena kawal perasaan tu. T_T
Macam mana nak kurangkan stress?
Banyak cara nak bermotivasi ni. Kita boleh baca Quran ataupun buku-buku motivasi. Kadang-kadang kita boleh baca kisah-kisah orang lain untuk rasa kita patut bersyukur dengan apa yang berlaku dalam hidup kita. Ujian hidup orang lain lagi berat dari apa yang kita diuji.
Stress yang kecil, bila disimpan lama-lama dia akan membukit dan boleh cenderung kepada depression (kemurungan). Dan, oleh sebab tu, cubalah buat apa-apa yang boleh buat kita lupa / buang perasaan stress tu. Berkongsilah dengan ahli keluarga, kawan-kawan ataupun kaunselor. Mungkin bila bercerita kat orang ni, kita akan rasa kita ni sangat bermasalah ataupun kita akan merisaukan orang lain. Tapi, percayalah, bila sampai tahap kemurungan, orang lagi akan risau.
Buatlah apa-apa pun, nak mendaki ke, nak bercucuk tanam ke, nak shopping ke. Bila happy, badan kita akan hasilkan hormon endorphin yang bantu atasi stress jugak. Pernah dengar kan yang orang makan coklat untuk kurangkan stress? Tapi fakta ni untuk dark chocolate je rasanya :)

4 Things We Can't Recover in Life

Hi guys, assalamualaikum :)
I just did my final exam yesterday and now am having 'holidays' for 4 days before starting new semester! Wohoo, alhamdulillah, all went well and I'm looking forward to do my blogwalking! It's been a while, and I really appreciate all the comments and will try my best to visit your blogs :)

So, what to do with this 4 days?
I need to proceed with my [Roadtrip] Where East Meets West' posts. Hihi. I must finish it before the real feeling go away.
But, first let me
Before that, I need to claim that the pictures and story are not mine. :) I took them from HERE and they are actually in slideshow. I tried to use embedded code but it turns out to be small for my blog.
What do you feel? At first, I tried to put myself in the lady's shoes. Maybe I don't really get angry if someone beside me take my food, as sometimes I do offer food to strangers while waiting for public transportation. While, for that man, I was amazed as he keep calm till the end.
Let's get back to the title of the post. 4 things we can't recover in life. What do you think?

Okay, here we go. ^_^
At first, I don't get it; the relation between stone and the stories. But, soon I understand that throwing stone is actually what we do. The stone.... after the throw, is something we did and we can't take it back. Just imagine, you play pranks to someone who doesn't like pranks - and turn out he/she really hate it. And he/she can hate you too T_T
This is the most common thing that happen in our life. Saying something then you regret saying it. That's the reason I guess why people keep saying, "think twice before you said/act". Words can be good but at the same time can be painful to others.
For example, school/college bully on someone who doesn't have pretty face or fat guy/girl. (I saw this on movies actually, haven't experienced in real life). Sometimes, the harsh words can cause them to attempt suicide! or if less than that, it will be a torture to his/her psychology.
Ahaa, doing something on the RIGHT time, at the RIGHT place with the RIGHT surrounding - this is what we in life I guess? It can be anything; planning to do any ceremony, doing something for someone.
What I can reflect from the story; is about the moment we did something wrong to someone, but we have no more chance to ask forgiveness. Huhu. Like people said, doing something bad to Allah, insyAllah we can repent but if to people, we need to find them and ask forgiveness. T_T
Forgive people every day. so, we don't need to carry the burden of hating anyone. :)
This is very general and I can say we can apply to anything we do, even while reading this post, perhaps? Time is a valuable thing and obviously, we can't turn back to even 1 millisecond of our life.
Cherish it and use it wisely.

Hihi, actually I was wondering if you find it difficult to read the contents of this blog as they are in English? Actually, I do have few reasons to make it an English-medium blog. I gave a deep thought about trying to make my blog like this. But.... hmm leave some ideas about this yea; like do you really prefer Malay / English contents. :)
