First Eid Without You

It is approaching 3am right now, I just cannot sleep yet, realizing I miss you a lot these days. I managed to go through few days of Ramadhan at home without you, I just cannot imagine how Mak Ayah dealt with Ramadhan, just the two of them when you used to accompany them since the past few years when you were not feeling well.
It is Eid today, AbangLong.
InsyAllah, I am going to visit you again this morning after Eid prayer. I still cannot help to be sad to see your full name on your batu nisan, the last time I visit you. I think you know that you have Nyah as your neighbour now, she passed away on your birthday - the day you should turn 31.

It felt weird to iron only four baju raya this time, when I used to iron for the five of us.
It felt weird to sit on your seat in the car, when I am used to sit in between you and AbangNgah.
It felt weird to go out on the last night of Ramadhan for our last minute shopping without you choosing your songkok.
It felt weird to find your clothes in my wardrobe when I am no longer be able to call your name to pass them.
It felt weird to find shiitake mushrooms in the fridge while cleaning the kitchen.
It felt weird to organize the flasks that I used to take chicken porridge in them to the hospital for you.
It felt weird to watch Shahrukh Khan on the screen without sharing with you.
So many weird feelings to write here.

Since the day you left the world.
Too many things happened since that day,

Too many good people I've met since that day,

I may not be tagging anyone else, just I would love to share more about myself (lol, that confidence) by answering these questions from lovely Fatin and Eyja.
To answer questions like in this tag thingy... it is quite challenging I guess. It depends on you, to share or not and if you decided to share more about yourself, bear the consequences hahaha as the blog world is open to anyone out there! Some questions leave me helpless to answer in details or simply rough, general answers. :D

1. Between baking and cooking, which one do you prefer?
Depends on my mood. Haha. I am not that picky with food. Sometimes I love savory more. Once a while, I have a sweet tooth when it comes to cakes, cookies etc. But wait, baking does not include roasting right? Even though both of them use oven to get to the final form of meal?
I am bearably okay (maybe.....) with both I think but it does not mean, I love doing them. T_T
I am cooking or baking to live.
2. Do you enjoy cooking?
Not as much as I enjoy doing outdoor activities.
I am very bad in estimating the salt and sugar. If I cook for myself, no salt and sugar for me but I can still enjoy the meal. :) Obviously it would not be okay to serve people. Allah knows how nervous I am when I need to put spoons of sugar or salt into the dishes. My housemate is always my life saver for this.
3. What time do you usually wake up in the morning to get ready to work?
When I wake up for Fajr. :) It is going to be tough during Ramadhan though... Fajr will be at 3am.
4. Beside your family/husband/wife/children, share 5 things you cannot live without.
I wrote a post on this, not five but ten instead. Hehe.
5. Which book genre do you enjoy to read?
I think I prefer non-fiction. I am still trying with few fiction novels but seems I enjoy non-fiction more. Travelogues, motivations, real life journeys are my preferences :)
These are few books that I reviewed in this blog, not that much though.
6. Do you have a crush on fictional characters?
Haha can't think of any specific one but personally I love strong characters like Mulan and the latest one, Moana.
7. Can you share your most and least favourite books (if you are not into books, you can share on movie/drama)?
Have you guys watched Inside Out? It is a very good movie from my perspective!
It is hard to decide specific titles for this question. But, I love anything that I can relate to myself and self-reflect.
8. Have you ever experience anything supernatural?
In my dreams, always. Hehe
9. What kind of animals have you kept as your pets?
Cats!

We have Atan here in Czech and I have few cats at my house in Perak. They are not really pets that I kept in the house, but they are always there - for food, for shelter. My dad even took them to the veterinarian if they got sick.
10. If you been given a chance to travel into a new dimensions, would you take that chance?
Absolutely yes. I would love to analyse the new dimensions and return with ideas on how to live life in different, interesting ways.
11. What would like to tell your another version from another dimensions?
Be yourself, in a good way.

I used to love pink so much that few years later I avoid myself from buying pink stuffs but sometimes I still ended up with pink. I can't help to choose my most favourite color but I have this calm feeling with white and all kinds of earth colors.

3. What lipstick that you use daily?
Vaseline - that is not lipstick anyway. T_T

HAHA tricky question! First of all, this question asks about the real bridesmaids who will wear similar cloth among themselves, right? And usually they are friends of the bride, right?
I lived in few places and I have friends that I am close to and still contact each other, but... to choose less than 10 (how many actually?) among them is a very hard task for me.
Just, I will definitely more than happy to have you on my wedding day, okay girls? Or if not, prayers for my marriage will be more than enough.
5. What colour might you wanna wear on your wedding ceremony?
AHAHAHA. I don't have exact plan yet for this. May Allah ease the way towards marriage first, insyAllah.
6. Your favorite color is/are..
All colors are lovely, I just can't choose T_T Maybe refer Q1. :)
7. When is your birthday?
15th August. I was actually bounded to go to India for my degree. I've imagined how interesting it will be to have my birthday on the Independence Day of India. Holiday, guys!

My family and I can't wait to meet them. Very soon.

Wah, terkejut tak bila nampak post kali ni bukan dalam English? :D
Ada lagi soalan-soalan Sunshine Blogger Award yang belum selesai dijawab sebenarnya. Memandangkan kali ni soalan dari Muteq dalam bahasa Melayu, jadinya post ni pun dalam BM. :) Saya pun dah tak ingat sejak bila dan macam mana kitorang mula baca blog masing-masing. Hee.
1. Pernah buat nakal kat sekolah tak? Korang buat apa?
Jujurnya saya budak baik lagi berdisiplin masa sekolah. Jujur. Hahaha.
Saya sama sekolah dengan ayah ataupun mak (banyak sangat pindah sekolah). Tak siap kerja sekolah pun, cikgu report kat mak ayah. Itu belum masuk kalau tak aktif dalam kelas, lambat masuk kelas lepas rehat yada yada. Saya pun tak faham, kenapa cikgu-cikgu lain suka report. Haih.
Lepak tepi longkang lepas habis sekolah sambil kupas kelapa kering kat pagar rumah terbiar pun mak ayah boleh tahu. Ppffttt.
2. Pernah buat mak korang menangis / marah tak? Apa jadi lepas tu?
Hmm pernah. Dan ni pun satu sebab kenapa orang nampak saya baik je. Kadang-kadang sebab benda kecil je... lagi-lagi age / generation gap, pemikiran berbeza sikit. Setiap kali 'lawan' cakap mak, tunggu la balasan. Tak payah tunggu lama, memang selalunya on the spot.
Jatuh longkang. Jatuh dalam lubang sampah yang api tengah menyala-nyala. Nyaris kena langgar dengan motor. Plug charger laptop patah. Flask air pecah T___T
Itu yang sekarang ni, nak buat nakal pun minta izin mak ayah. Haha. Biasanya diorang redha je dan melepaskan anak perempuan diorang ni buat macam-macam. As long as they know and well informed.

3. Apa cita-cita waktu kecik? Masih sama?
Petani moden.
Ya Allah, masa belajar Kajian Tempatan pasal cara-cara tumbuhan membiak tu, the best feeling ever rasanya masa kecil. Semua cara nak cuba, serius halaman rumah sewa saya sekeluarga yang kecil tu memang penuh dengan pokok.
Kacang hijau boleh tumbuh atas kapas yang basah tu pun dah boleh buat saya kagum. Belum masuk pokok ubi kayu yang ingatkan boleh makan daun je, lepas tu masa nak pindah rumah... ayah korek tanah sebab nak ambik ubi bawah tu. Pokok setawar pun, kangkung yang boleh menjalar kat pagar, semua jenis kekacang (kacang panjang, kacang bendi, kacang botol). Pokok durian pun saya pernah tanam (masa ni atuk tolong jagakan).
4. Nanti dah besar nak stay mana?
Fuh, susah soalan ni.
InsyAllah yang pasti, saya stay Malaysia. Setakat ni lah...insyAllah. Tak tahu la kalau nanti migrate tu lebih baik. -_-'

Quran.
Lagi-lagi bila jumpa verses yang fuhhh menusuk kalbu.
6. Lagu paling best?
Hmmm. Entahlah nak jawab macam mana. Saya jenis dengar semua lagu (except geng head-banging). Lagu tenang-tenang okay je.
7. Movie paling best? (Nampak tak aku malas nak buat soalan baru? Haha.)
Haha. Ni satu lagi soalan entahlah nak jawab macam mana. Saya prefer yang romantic comedy kot. I am okay with heavy movies, macam yang perlu fikir banyak asalkan jangan ganas sangat lah. Potong kepala, tembak sana-sini...sakit jantung. T_T
8. Apa harapan untuk Malaysia pada masa akan datang?
Perangi rasuah dan orang-orang yang mengetuai Malaysia masa tu akan cuba letakkan semua perkara pada tempatnya - adil la senang kata.
9. Kalau mati nanti nak tinggalkan apa?
Memandangkan belum fasa berkeluarga untuk dapat bahagian anak yang soleh tu, saya akan usaha kerja lebih untuk dua yang lain tu. Ada beberapa idea dalam rancangan hidup dan blog ni pun harapnya salah satu medium bermanfaat yang saya akan tinggalkan.
10. Nak buat apa dalam hidup ni?
Banyak bendaaaaa. :)
Cuma, kena selalu ingatkan diri dengan tujuan hidup. Menjadi 'abid dan khalifah atas muka bumi.
'Abid = hamba yang patuh pada Allah. Allah tak halang pun kita nak buat apa sahaja yang kita nak, asalkan tak langgar syariat.
Khalifah = wakil / pemimpin. Mungkin nak jadi pemimpin dunia tu... jauh sangat impian tapi sekurang-kurang kita kena jadi pemimpin untuk diri kita sendiri.

It's been a while to have this blogger award thingy on my blog. :D It was a huge phenomenon the last time I was still active with blogs, 2009-ish maybe? Anyway, thank you so much Wany for this obviously unexpected award. ^^ I am very glad to know that my blog posts are one of the sources of your smile :)
From what I understand, the Sunshine Blogger Award is basically given to people / bloggers who simply give happiness to your day. It is honestly a lovely surprise for myself and I hope it will do the same to you :)

Haha, even the first question is hard for me. I knew I lack creativity but well, I think I enjoy sketching something. Not even that average though. Asalkan bukan orang lidi kira okay la kan? Hehe
I am a 'specky' girl with short-sightedness, have no idea about wearing contact lens although I learned about this alternative in Ophthalmology class. I can say I am an adventurous person who is not that feminine but now trying my best to be one.
2. What character in a book or movie you would love to meet? And why?
I don't really fancy certain movies or books. But, hmmm maybe Doraemon? I love all of the innovative items he has. Wait, Doraemon is a he, right? I see Doraemon as a very good companion who is willing to help anyone, like Nobita although Nobita always take advantages of Doraemon's kindness. He helps animals as well, I still remember few scenes where Doraemon stops cats from arguing.
3. What's your favourite day of the week?
No special days actually but I love Friday for the barakah in it. And maybe Saturday as ideal day to do fun stuffs when I have Sunday to rest afterwards :)
4. What's your biggest accomplishment?
Solo-travel few times and survived in those adventures. Oh, I consider 'manage to cook something good at the first trial' as biggest accomplishment as well haha. And few other stuffs that I have no idea I can do it before.

5. What's a weird habit that you do?
I am not sure if the weird habit I have is considered as weird by other people. But... hmm when I was a bit younger, I used the 'view as' button on Facebook to see how my profile looks like to other people.
It is good on another side, when I can control any inappropriate things from appearing on other people's news feed.
6. Which part of your personality you hope people would see most?
I-am-not-all-the-time-decisions-maker.
7. What makes you bored?
Waiting, especially for buffered video.
8. How often do you go for blogwalking?
Every time I have free time and a laptop with me. I can read your blog posts on mobile, just I don't prefer to.
9. Which food out of all your faves you would never give up?
I love food, just when in Czech I prefer eating to live. Obviously in Malaysia we have so many food choices that I prefer living to eat. No wonder I can gain weight so fast every summer break and lose most of it upon returning to Czech.

Throwing trash into the dustbin like basketball pro and let the trash around the bin if it does not get in.

10 Things I Can't Live Without

I've been tagged again by Fatin. Haha, haven't done the first tag actually, maybe I should just write something while I have the chance to.
Family is a must and I will try my best to survive with them - they are absolutely people I love the most. Now, let's talk about real things.
Basically my list is like this;
1. Quran
- I started to appreciate this Holy book more when I stepped my feet on Czech lands. It was a struggle to survive in a foreign country at the age of 19-20 years old with everything looks alien to me. The lifestyle, the people, the language etc. Quran helps me to keep calm and reassure I have Allah to lean on.
2. Passport / identity card
- This is like a part of life. Haha, don't imagine what happen if you lost any one these identifications. It will be easy if we are in Malaysia but, obviously not when we are outside of the country. To live here while waiting for visa is already challenging enough.
3. A place to stay
I don't mind how small it is. As long as I have somewhere to stay.
4. Handphone and charger
You are lost somewhere and you are not able to reach any of your family members / friends to return home. :p Imagine that. Haha. With Internet, this will be fantastic for me to just stay under the duvet.
5. Laptop and charger
I prefer typing on laptop than on the phone. Even for Whatsapp. :)
6. Food & water
Human cannot live long without food and water - they are as important as the air we inhale and exhale. Water is a must for me.
7. Clean clothes
Being a backpacker, this is something I need to think about. Either to bring more clothes or simply wear the same clothes. And I end up bringin more clothes hoho. My type of travelling involve lots of walking and hiking, so just don't expect it would not be dirty and smelly.
8. Good words
I don't like harsh words or any mencarut words. F, S whatever it is. Just, I am so exposed to these things when I became friends with so many people with different backgrounds. I can tolerate my friends saying that but I will try my best not to say myself.
9. Books
Anything to read, even though it will just be a pamphlet. :p.
10. Money
Well, the cliche one.
Money is NOT everything but everything needs money.
I found a video on FB about 10 Signs You're Doing Well in Life.
This made my day. :) The points mentioned there are likely similar to my points here. Wow.
Maybe I can still live without these things that I have listed. But, I am sure my life will be empty without them. When I lost my abanglong, there was a time I felt like it was dark on the other side of the road. Just imagine you lost someone special in your life and you need to live without him/her.
Still grieving, I know.
But, I need to keep going with my life as mine is not ending yet. I have a lot of things to take care of, so much good deeds I must do to get a better afterlife. :)

Nah, tengok dulu yep.
Tersenyum sendiri tengok reaksi orang makan makanan dari Malaysia ni :) Selalu nampak reaksi kawan-kawan bila dihidangkan makanan kita, memang menarik reaksi tu. Haha. Dari yang menangis sebab pedas, ada yang menangis sebab sedap sampai ada yang minta resepi. Paling senang nak buat, saya rasa kek batik lah kot. Hampir setiap tahun akan ada kek batik ni.
Habis je tengok video ni, saya rasa macam.... hmmm "lama sangat ke aku ni duduk luar". "Banyaknya jajan yang aku tak pernah makan"

Saya masih dalam misi mencari handphone baru. Haha. M-A-S-I-H.
Ingat lagi kisah di hari bermulanya GST saya?

Dah macam-macam kedai yang dituju, malangnya handphone yang saya aim, katanya dah tak keluar / takde stok dah. T_T Kalau ada, harganya tinggi entah kenapa, paling tidakpun 2nd hand. Direcommend untuk beli handphone yang lebih terkini cuma masa tu mental tak sedia dengan perbezaan harga yang ketara.
Itu kisah masa bulan puasa lepas. Haha.
Baru semalam, kembali cuba melunaskan misi tu. Habis survey dah insyAllah. Set minda nak beli satu jenis ni. Kira dah nak jadi dah. Minta ayah tawar-menawar harga, then get a nice price - setuju.
Seller tu tunjuk box. Walaupun last beli barang elektronik ni few years ago - memang dah sebati dalam diri untuk tengok semua sisi kotak sebelum penjual tu bukakan seal. Check nombor IMEI kat belakang kotak sebab ikut pembacaan, set yang tak ori takde no IMEI ni. Maaf kalau silap.

Seal kotak tu macam ditampal semula. Alamak, dah tak sedap hati - kali pertama.

Penjual tu bukak kotak - saya check sama tak IMEI dekat belakang phone dengan belakang kotak. Okay, sama. Bila dimasukkan bateri - tak boleh on. Eheee, bateri baru memang bateri kosong sekosong-kosongnya ke? Entahlah, last beli phone masa tahun bila entah, bateri baru akan ada at least 30%.
Kali kedua tak sedap hati.
Bila fikir balik, macam pelik jugak bila tak jumpa satu lapisan plastik kat skrin phone - biasanya akan ada satu layer yang kita boleh cabut pastu baru nampak skrin betul-betul kan? Macam contoh kat bawah ni. -_-'

Kali ketiga tak sedap hati.
Beritahu kat ayah, emm rasa tak best la macam ni. Banyak betul yang rasa tak senang. Mujur tak bayar lagi. My father asked the seller - kenapa macam ni? Dia check balik dengan distributor, rupanya phone tu pernah dibukak untuk tunjuk kat customer. Alasannya, phone dummy yang diorang ada - warna hitam je, tapi customer tu nak tengok yang warna putih.
Alahai, lagi bertambah sebab tak sedap hati.
Ye lah, phone yang simple pun bukannya murah. Lagi-lagi kalau dah bayar untuk harga brand new tapi entah-entah rupanya dah ada orang guna.
Saya ni bukan jenis senang-senang nak cancel transaction once dah aim nak beli. Tapi this time - ya Allah rasa berdebar sangat. At last, saya cancel jugak.
Entahlah, bukan rezeki saya untuk ada phone lagi. -_-'
Dan rasa serba salah bila seller tu muka pucat macam nak menangis. I think, bukan salah dia la kot, maybe distributor yang bagi phone in re-sealed box untuk dia jual pada saya.
